Custom Email Authentication
How to prevent your SchemeServe emails from being marked as spam
Spam is a big problem for e-mail users and most of the major email providers work hard to filter out Spam mail before the recipient receives it.
However, sometimes they filter out email that the user wants to see because of the volumes of mail sent from an address or because they are uncertain of the validity of the email address of the sender.
We have created records for all SchemeServe sites that are using the schemeserve.com domain name.
However, if you are using a custom domain you will need to create DNS records with your domain name provider.
These are to essentially say that you are happy for SchemeServe to send email saying it's coming from you.
Email your domain name provider including the following message:
Please create the following DNS records for my domain name(s) DOMAINNAME.COM, DOMAINNAME2.COM, DOMAINNAME3.COM, etc.:
Type Host Data CNAME schemeserve-auth u8145158.wl159.sendgrid.net CNAME s1._domainkey s1.domainkey.u8145158.wl159.sendgrid.net CNAME s2._domainkey s2.domainkey.u8145158.wl159.sendgrid.net CNAME branded-mail sendgrid.net CNAME 8145158 sendgrid.net
It can take up to 24 hours following your hosting provider making the changes for them to be active.
Checking to see if your domain name has the correct records
Go to https://your-site.schemeserve.com/schemeserve/admin/Website.aspx
